Four locations and four generations later, Davenport, still family-owned and operated, has evolved into two seperate, premier Buick-GMC and Honda dealerships, located on a 12-acre Autopark site at the intersection of Highway 64 By-Pass and Winstead Avenue, serving Rocky Mount, Nashville, Tarboro, Wilson, Roanoke Rapids, and surrounding areas.
Davenport's commitment to customer satisfaction has resulted in numerous awards and recognitions, including twice being named "Best Automotive Dealership" by readers of the Rocky Mount Telegram, being ranked among the top dealerships in the nation in sales and service satisfaction in surveys of both Honda and GM customers, receiving the highest possible Better Business Bureau rating of A+, and being voted "Family-Owned Business of the Year" by the Rocky Mount Area Chamber of Commerce. Past awards include the coveted Time Magazine Quality Dealer Award (TMQDA) for North Carolina, GM Service Excellence Awards for Pontiac, Buick and GMC, and Honda's prestigious President's Award twice.
