2017 Buick Encore vs. Enclave

If you're in the market for an SUV, chances are that you're looking for something that offers space and versatility. As a midway point between the sedan and a minivan, there are plenty of options within the segment – and perhaps almost too many! If you've found yourself perusing through SUVs of different sizes and amenities, let us help you out by narrowing it down to one brand – Buick. Within the brand's lineup, drivers can find what suits them best. Here, we've compared two popular models – one that's smaller and one that's larger – so that you can narrow your search down based on your needs.

While both the 2017 Buick Encore and the 2017 Buick Enclave make a great choice, it comes down to what you need. The Encore is significantly smaller than the Enclave, and is powered by a 1.4-liter Inline-four engine. With this engine, the model can get 25 miles per gallon in the city and 33 on the highway, while still pumping out 138 horsepower. The Enclave offers a 288-horsepower 3.6-liter V-6, which is capable of 15 miles per gallon in the city and 22 on the highway. So, the choice is yours: small and efficient, or large and powerful
